From InfoBeat: *** Satellite deployment delayed until Tuesday

The launch of an unmanned Delta rocket to deploy five communications
satellites was postponed until Tuesday because of software problems on
the ground, the consortium that owns the satellites said Sunday.
Iridium LLC, an international group of 18 telecommunications
organizations, said the launch had been planned for Sunday from
Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The consortium has already
deployed 17 of a planned eventual network of 66 communications
satellites that will allow customers to use handheld telephones and
pagers anywhere in the world. Commercial service is scheduled to begin
in September 1998, an Iridium spokeswoman said.
