Keeping the "facts" extremely general, as in "just as historical as the Roman Emperor Augustus" (<<< as FALSE a statement as could POSSIBLY be made!!) can make anything SOUND possible. It is then a short jump to an illogical conclusion.

Being the "son of God", Jesus could have done 100... One Thousand things...that would have left an indisputable record as a deity on the planet. He did not leave ONE physicality, never demonstrated by speech or act that he knew ONE THING that was unknown to the average Palestinian of the time, yet uttered a promise to permanently return before all of the Disciples perished, and DID NOT. The MINIMUM he could have done, was to even SPEAK effectively enough that his followers would not be KILLING one another about interpretations of what it means to be an adherent.

I just would like to know, what is so FEARFUL about a realm, this Earth, with an absence of a Deity?? Not enough suicide bombers, or what??
