I'm a new investor in APPI, I got in about a week ago at somewhat higher prices. I've read a lot on Raging Bull where there's a very active thread, but several bashers. I wanted to see what peoples thoughts are over here for the short and long term prospects for the stock.
I like the idea of the cholesterol lowering drug, as well as the nasal spray, if there is strong, albeit anecdotal, evidence of its effectiveness. I look forward to seeing what happens when Ed McMahon's infomercials reach the airways. Does anyone know when this might happen.
I recognize that penny stocks certainly have risk. I recently missed buying in on GMED at 3 cents, but did get in at 8, with Venture Capitalist's coming in there with warrants that have no value until the stock's $1, I think there's a strong possibility that will happen. I feel that if McMahon's presentation is strong here, and develops interest in not only the product, but the company, the same thing could happen here.
It's a huge jump from pennies to dollars, but I was also in EDIG years ago when it went over $20. The person who told me about it heard about it when it was trading for under a dime, he bought in around 30 cents, told me about it around 60. I didn't buy that much, but it was a very interesting ride. Let's hope that APPI gives us such a ride.
