The world correctly did not consider Iraq a threat in 2002, despite the flood of Neocon propaganda.
Obviously the world did not have enough information to make this claim, having for 12 years been too afraid to back up its own resolution for establishing Iraqi disarmament. In assessing the Iraqi threat, the world was guessing, and where WMD are concerned, guessing is a very stupid thing to do. Thanks to Bush and only to Bush, the world needs not guess anymore.
Thanks to Bush, however, the world knows that it is threatened by the U.S., with its massive arsenal of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons.
For 12 years the world was too afraid to hold a two-bit dictator to his critical responsibilities. So no one should be a bit surprised that it now trembles in the presence of an American president who, unlike Clinton and presidential wanna-be John Kerry, has a full set of balls. |
