in the short term... i think there's a boat load of leveraged speculation... even...unleveraged... a whole price layer above the supply/demand layer. when this is removed... then, price will be sustainable in a true sense. i.e. your longer term view. when will we know that? ah... the potential multi million dollar question, without a doubt.
