It looks like the DC protestors are supposed to be bussed into NY City. So there probably will not be a protest in DC. Maybe they couldn't get a permit in time. DC is very tough on protestors, we get so many, every flavor of the political and social spectrum. I think protestors need to pay for overtime for the police. Not sure about that. internationalanswer.org
