glenn there is an obscene amount of money to be made here, provided one pinpoints precisely the players... i have a PF long in telecom, core holdings obtained over many years.. of particular interest to me as a result: wireless & fiber optics and i have done a degree of reallocating to that end. (eg i went very long in airtouch @24 3/8) and i have been trying to zero in on fiber optics plays..(i have a small position in lucent @49) in fact, trying to determine the franchises led me to that site. i have much more to research before i have any confidence in a pick, but i am happy to keep you posted. regards, randy
