This was only after they'd been counted as dead two or three times, and the Administration gathered all kinds of positive press from reporting that they had been killed.

I think this whole Pakastani public push to get the Number Two is designed to reflect much of the media's attention away from the one year anniversary of the Iraq War debacle.
