I know jobs are supposed to be a lagging indicator. Personally I think the "productivity" excuse is wrong because we've added millions of jobs in india and china this go-round. So this recovery has added jobs. The only reason productivity is an issue is because employers have a lot of leverage here with their workforces since no hiring in the US. But anyway, given your knowledge of previous expansions, assuming the jobs have been created, this recovery looks mature at this point doesn't it? We have been seeing improvements in profits for a year. How long would you expect for this recovery to continue?

The market feels like a bear to me, recovery or no. Corrections are short sharp and fast. Its 3 mos into 04 and we keep going down. Last year's rally expected a different kind of recovery in 04 imho.
