<<Bush's #1 contributor was Enron and Enron turned out to be king of the crooks. Bush has known this ever since 2001>>

That doesn't mean he should be liable for returning anything. By your own admission he didn't didn't know anything until 2001 which was well after the contribution. What is known is that the people Clinton appointed to oversee the market didn't keep a very good eye on things as it was during his tenure in office that accounting scandals took place by a multitude of companies. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't blame Clinton for what our unethical corporate America did but I think its an even greater stretch for you to lay blame at GWB's feet. Afterall, the people that were to be watching such things were appointed by Clinton. Worldcom & Loral were supporters of Bill CLinton. Should we now go back and hold him responsible? I don't think so! As much as we'd like to think/hope that our Presidents know everything the simple fact is they just don't. The scrutiny in the media has gotten so bad that in the last 2 elections the 4 best candidates we had to chose from were GWB, AL Gore and John Kerry. Anyone with an ounce of brains knows there were better, more qualified people to run our country but nobody is willing to step forward and be skinned alive by the media when they can be happy and make more money in private industry. I think we as voters had better tread lightly and encourage our media to do the same or we're going to continue to be faced with candidates like we've had. It's really sad if you ask me. I watched Al Gore in 2000 and couldn't help but see a guy that would have been willing to sell his mother to become President. I must not have been the only guy to see that because he lost to a person who was clearly his junior on an intellectual basis.
