Very well written: "Kerry voted for a version of the legislation that required Bush to pay for the appropriation, instead of applying it to our children's debt - that is, Bush would have to cancel some tax cuts for the wealthy. That version was voted down. Then the Republican version was voted on. It provided no means to pay for the $87 billion except adding it to the debt. Kerry voted against it."

As clear as you explained Kerry's position, it is too complicated for some. Did you know the Nazis banned the semicolon? They only wanted simple concepts; they argued complicated thoughts were too difficult to understand.
