Hi M, Something interesting regarding the Spanish election I haven't seen mentioned. Granted there was a terrible bombing which focused allot of media attention, but think about this one... Two weeks before the Spanish election Greece had a national election, they tossed out the Socialists in a rather resounding way and elected a conservative government. How many Americans heard that in the news? news.scotsman.com By the way, I liked Spain but Crete is even nicer. They have cleaner cities and more pleasant shopkeepers. And everyone seems to speak pretty good English. You know that saying "it's all Greek to me", I've thought about that reading signs a few times recently. :) Best, Mike
