If the US quits Iraq and the UN goes in, then UN will not be attacked.

It couldn't work like that. The US couldn't leave and then afterward the UN forces move in.

First, the US leaving would create chaos. Second, the UN doesn't have a military force of its own to come in after. And they couldnt handle something like Iraq unless the US supplied most of the manpower. So a UN force would be a largely US force anyway.
