John, Ascend, Msft, Zitel and general stuff.

3% sounds about right, but who knows what happens. The bears are out in full force and some say it has to go down a lot further because investors are not worried enough. I cannot ever understand those stupid statements. The only thing you can make out of this is that those bears of course missed the boat and now are desperately trying to drive the market down one way or another. Nothing is looming, so now they are harping on the UPS/Teamster thing. If the Teamsters win, it will be bad for business, wage pressure. Give me a break, it's about the pensions, everything else is minor. UPS has already agreed to some higher wages.

Zitel, I did not even know that they split, no wonder it looks so low. I bailed out at 45 and 40. How were you able to hold at 43? I thought it went to the low thirties and then I saw it in the twenties. At what point did it split?

I hope Sonki is waiting with Ascend. This stock goes lower and lower.

I guess I leave it at that. I was disconnected 3 times before I was able to finish this post. I think we will be able to find some bargains soon. I am also looking at Msft. My 3Com is suffering today.
