(Related item:Cutting carbs on the road is tough, but help's on the way) The low-carb craze sets sail in September on the first of four scheduled cruises to Mexico and the Caribbean on Carnival Cruise Line. Up to 500 devotees of the Atkins, South Beach and other carbohydrate-restrictive regimens are expected to sign up for the "lifestyle cruises," organized by Florida-based Carb Counter Cruises. Low-carb versions of existing shipboard menus are being created by former Atkins Group executive chef Greg Pryor, plus some selections created just for vacationing dieters.
