Thanks for the rant. Is the United States forcing the Spanish to keep troops in Iraq? Did the United States nullify the Spanish election? It is only in your imagination, that the United States, is trying to undermine the democratic process in Spain.

The Europeans tried to convince and pressured the United States to ratify Kyoto even though, from the START, the Senate refused to ratify the Treaty. So President Clinton signed a Treaty, he knew could never be enforced in the United States (as Treaties must be ratified by the Senate). The American people clearly chose the direction they wanted to take their country. Why don't you complain that the EU is trying to undermine the Democratic process of the United State? The fact that the Europeans couldn't even lower their own emissions of greenhouse gasses during an economic downturn (2001-2002, and because of Western Europe's demographics, and heavy use of nuclear power, it should be much easier for them to reduce emissions of greenhouse gasses) seems to indicate, that they are more interested in slowing the American economy, than saving the environment.

Many European Governments are against the American development of the ABM, and have tried to influence the United States to stop development - even though the Netherlands, Germany, and Greece have fielded ABM systems to protect themselves. So Europeans don't have a problem with theater based ABM systems (that might help protect their smaller countries); they're just against a continental ABM system (that might help protect a large country - like the United States).

Even so, does this mean that Europeans are trying to undermine the democratic process of the United States? No, I don't think so.

I guess you don't get it either.

re:"What's Wrong?WHAT'S WRONG??!!!
Bush is trying to undermine the Democratic process of another country...THAT'S what's WRONG!

The new Govt' was elected on the platform of pulling troops out of Iraq and it was a referendum on the decision to go there in the first place.

The people clearly chose the direction they wanted to take their country....T-H-E-I-R......C-O-U-N-T-R-Y....

But you don't get it...none of you...get it...

You wouldn't know democracy if it jumped up a bit you in the arse."
