Sorry Stephen, but I'm not a short-term investor at all - but
very, very long term instead.
However, if one buys a bunch of expensive mainly Windows-based
development companies, like Corel did, and then go out of your
way to announce that Windows is dead and Java and the NC is the
future -without even knowing what users of your flagship
product (CorelDraw) are supposed to do on that platform- then
you're not doing anything strategic.
But if after all this you decide to basically drop the Java
plans that you invested so heavily in and that you announced
would earn the majority of your revenue (...) with as soon next
year, then I'd say you're confused. Do you agree?

Sure, you have to change plans sometimes. Just not too often.
And above all you should try to avoid destroying your own company
in the process.
