Steve, when OSB goes from $5 to $18 without a corresponding increase in demand, it suggests a possible price manipulation. If that is the cause, and not a sudden increase in demand, then a little meddling by an impartial source might not hurt. The problem is that the impartial source often turns out less than impartial, and the meddling only makes things worse! And yes, it WILL eventually show up in higher consumer prices.
