Richard Durbin March 19, 2004 Please repeal the H1B program, and send ALL H1Bs back! I have a BS in Physics, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from William and Mary, and 15 years of Information Technology experience, including 3 years when I quite literally worked as a rocket scientist. Yet in spite of all these things, it took me 1 and 2/3 years of nationwide job searching to find a 6-month contract, and I had to pay my own moving expenses, and interviewing expenses. Education is NOT the answer. Tax cuts on dividends is not the answer. Repealing the H1B bill would instantly create up wards of a million American jobs. I've been a Republican all my life, but Bush has infuriated me with his cavalier attitude to wards unemployment. I'll vote for anyone who will repeal the H1B.
