1) Most economists agree: The household survey is not accurate for jobs. I will not beat that dead horse. Besides, I have a serious problem switching metrics in a campaign season (payroll has been used for years).

2) Most major economists think the deficit is primarily the result of Bush's tax cuts AND that those tax cuts are almost useless in job creation.

To back up this assertion: Here is a press release from 10 Nobel laureates (economics) opposing the tax cut (and many other prominent economists) because it would not create jobs.

3) Bush is NOT for free trade. This is part of the mendacity of the Bush administration. Bush is for protecting corporate profits with tax preferences, but not protecting jobs. Kerry is for Free Trade and he gets high marks from free trade journals (as I quoted previously).

The only opponents to Kerry's trade proposals are A) Far right (corporate profit protectionists like Bush) and B) Far left (job protectionists).

Here is a conservative on Bush:
“From the point of view of trade, it (Bush) is the worst administration since Herbert Hoover helped bring on the Great Depression by signing the Smoot-Hawley tariff in 1930.”

It is nice to discuss issues. I stay away from the Bush was AWOL, Kerry met with Fonda garbage.
