They all deny wanting to be VP until the offer comes. Wrong. Colin Powell repeatedly turned down the opportunity. He also repeatedly turned down opportunities to join the Clinton administration as Secretary of State. McCain holds significant power in the Senate because of his status as a swing vote. I can't see him doing funerals for a Democratic administration. ...though he may become the new speaker of the house... So McCain is going to resign from the Senate and run for a Congressional seat? I'm surprised that he did not announce that this morning. Take a nap. <gg>
