I do believe Saddam was in bed with Al- Qaida, and other terrorist groups such as Hammas….I do believe he supported Al- Qaida, whom he knew despised America and was going to attack using hijacked planes…..I think he secretly supported a host of individual thugs and groups he believed despised America and sought to destabilize it…..The money spicket for Islamic terrorism came largely from Iraq and SA….

Fantasy will not substitute for facts. That’s what got Bush in trouble. The evidence shows Saddam distrusted Al Qaeda because of its religious underpinnings, and would not cooperate with it. And vice versa – Osama bin Laden considered Saddam the infidel. There is no evidence whatever that Iraq was “the money spigot” for Islamic terrorism. The evidence, such as it is, suggests strongly he was not in sympathy with religious (Islamic) terrorism and considered it a danger to his regime.
