Yes with Bush it is always my word versus theirs. It was the same with Paul O'Neil and now it is the same with Dick Clarke. Clarke is a Reagan appointee and every President after Reagan kept him on since every President regarded very highly of him. Bush Jr. comes into office, Condi meets with Clarke 4 days later, Clarke says Al Qaeda is the real threat and not Iraq. And bam, Clarke suddenly becomes very unpopular with Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and the other neo cons for not toeing their line on Iraq.

This Administration has a very set agenda and anybody standing in their way, from Clarke, O'Neill, the UN, the Spaniards et al are criminals since they oppose their dictatorship. A dictatorial regime such as this with unilateral pre emptive strike doctrine is something the Americans do not want. It is time to send them home and rescue the US and with it the world.
