O.K Chuck, read todays Wall Street Journal (page C1) and you will see what I am talking about re:institutions see nifty 50's. KO, G and now INTC are taking the vrunt of the selling and guess why ?
Over-valuation and warnings about lower income going into 1998 and 1999. Do not think INTC is immune to market forces. The point of selling today is to buy back later and at a lower price ($85 in other words).

This is not a warning nor to create panic selling....just a bit of TA.
Nothing wrong with that since that is how the big $$$ is made. Don't you ever hear of sell, buy, hold recommendations from Wall Street analysts ? This is no different.

If you are a long term investor, hold on and I am sure you will see $100/share again. The questions is when ?
