I'm looking at this house which the current owner just purchased 2 weeks ago for $750k and immediately put it on the market for $850k.

Does anyone know if it's ok to ask the real esate agent why the owner wants to sell so soon? What can be assumed about the seller since he is risking quite a lot just to make a small profit?

I thought about it for a while and concluded that the only way it can make sense is if the agent is the seller, in which case, he is looking for a much bigger profit.

Since I have interest in this house. Any idea how can I exploit this piece of information?
