Even Condi Rice nor Bush can't deny the fact that the anti-terrorism position was demoted from a cabinet member to staff position. That alone states the relative unimportance that Bush gave to Bin Laden. What else can Bush do but to denigrate Clarke--whom he appointed. More will emerge as the hearings begin. fred
