I already answered that. Casting every country that doesn't agree with you and venturing out is not a sign of courage, but a sign of stupidity.

Moreover, the US economy is afloat because it is being fed a billion dollars every day from other countries. That makes it all the more necessary for the US to work with other nations. An administration that has a horrendous record of this has no chance of turning the economy around either. It can indulge in statistical wizardry for a while, but magic can only take you so far.
