you make some very good points. a Palestinian raised in America would probably be an average American. an American raised in Palestine would probably be an average Palestinian (if he were allowed to).

the point is that a culture shapes who we are. so two people raised in different cultures will have different values, even if they are identical twins. so it is culture, not biology that makes the biggest difference.

so i'm just asking.. why do the honest, decent people of Palestine allow these killers in their midst in the first place? i'm guessing that they allow it because they are at least tacitly approving of them. they are hoping that the killers will improve their lot, aren't they? aren't they hoping that the killers will succeed in what they're trying to do?

where is the average Palestinian's desire for the bombing and killing to stop? it is easy to say that one is against killing, and still secretly hope it will continue and succeed. it may not be their fault, because most average people raised there would probably feel the same way. Nevertheless, the bombings have to stop first. Israel will not stop responding to the bombings, so the bombings must stop before any kind cooperation can begin.

obviously the killers will not stop, so the responsibility is with the rest of the population. if rest of the people don't stop the killers, someone else will have to do it.
