9/11 Commission Hearings(Rice AWOL)
The Fireworks will most likely be Wednesday afternoon, with Sandy Berger and Richard A. Clarke scheduled to testify.

On Tuesday and Wednesday WNYC AM 820 provides live coverage of the 9-11 Commission Hearings on U.S. counterterrorism policy leading up to the September 11 terror attacks. Several high-level officials are scheduled to testify, including Secretary of State Colin Powell, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and CIA director George Tenet. The hearings take place at the Hart Senate Office building in Washington, DC.

Coverage will begin at 9AM both days, and will continue until at least 4PM with a one-hour break for lunch.

NPR's Senior National Correspondent Linda Wertheimer hosts the coverage.
