No, that is to the North. Tellico (thats the name of the park) is very near (On the tenn. side) to the waterfalls over by Tellico Plains. I forgot the road that takes you there but its a very scenic, windy, two lane road that runs right along the stream. Its only about 12 miles from Tellico Plains but a good 1/2 hr to drive it due to the windy nature. I really like Tellico Plains, not a lot there but the people seem friendly, I dont know if you will be able to find an existing home though, really limits you in your search. North EAST Carolina I believe is not mountainous but near the ocean?? Maybe you mean North WEST carolina. I have looked for land all over those areas but never found anything that I truly liked that was affordable. Maybe I waited too long. 10 years ago everything was cheap. jdn
