Action Products sees first-quarter sales up 5 pct Tuesday March 23, 10:13 am ET CHICAGO, March 23 (Reuters) - Toy maker Action Products International Inc. (NasdaqSC:APII - News) said on Tuesday that it expects $1.5 million in sales in the first quarter, up 5 percent from a year earlier. The company also said it expects sales of $10 million to $10.5 million for the year, up from $8.2 million a year earlier. The company also said it has received its first purchase order from a distributor in Chile -- its first sale into South America.
