I'm in the process of selling my interest in a sizeable land deal. Already big suburban houses can be got cheap in the forclosure auctions. I'm waiting for acreage. I hear that some guy with a ranch near Crawford may be out of a job soon.

I still don't have a good feel for where to put assets. The dollar is dropping so much that I can't easily estimate the value ratios. With luck I can catch assets when they crash, but before inflation runs up the interest rates.
