You're welcome. I've posted it many, many times, and finally decided to start collecting it. I think it really would make a good Master's thesis, especially the role of ATCC, the American Type Culture Collection, which was situated in Rockville when it shipped anthrax samples to groups holding themselves out as scientific researchers in Iraq, and is now situated in Manassas. But I fear that they might not welcome the attention. atcc.org
At the time, it was ok to ship stuff like anthrax to people who had a genuine interest in using the research for public health purposes.
Looking back, it's amazing everybody was so naive in those days. When I was working in the Veterinary Science department at LSU, and later studying microbiology, we students had complete run of the labs. No locks anywhere.
Now, of course, Bush knew!!!!! is the mantra, and the US government is the omniscient, malevolent Great Satan to those on the far left and the far right. |
