Alas, Hamas has not killed anywhere near the number of Israelis and the Israelis have Palestinians. Orders of magnitde more.

Sharon was the road block in the peace process by giving the "14 p[oints" that he didn't agree with. By adding other requirements. Hamas had to disband even while the IDF continued making attacks and killings, for example.
By telling the US that he is going to dismantle settlements while telling the Israelis that "their children and their children's children will be living in the settlements.

Now he is talking about removing 7,000 while making the 144,000 squatters permanent.
