Jobless Claims : Definition A weekly compilation of the number of individuals who filed for unemployment insurance for the first time. So the number does NOT include those who lost their jobs last week and in the weeks prior. What it means is that fewer people were fired last week. It also means that people are continuing to lose jobs. How do you want to spin this now?! I suggest you take your "logic" to Dumbya himself. The moron that he is, he might actually buy it. The rest of us Americans know better.
