You, of course, believe in "Peace in our time" a la Chamberlain. When are we going to learn that when you yield to terrorism, you prove to them terror works and thus invite just more terror. That is one case when you fight fire with fire until you completely eradicate that scourge. You give them a finger and they will eat you whole arm. Appeasing terrorists is as big a crime as terrorism is because it invites further terror. This is what you wrote. If you don't see the hate and anger in it, then I don't what to say. For ten years, Israel has been fighting the Palestinians with force, not yielding; fighting fire with fire; never giving a finger. And where has it gotten Israel? Is there peace? Does Israel prosper? Are Jews flocking to Israel to live? The answer to all of those questions is a resounding NO! In fact, Israel is up to her eyes in debt; her economy suffers; Israeli stocks languish in the markets; there is significant out migration; and her people live in fear. So does the scourge still exist? Why has the might of Israel not eradicated the enemy? And now Israel brings this horrific feud to the shores of this country. And as one American........I don't want it.
