I wonder where they get the idea that offshoring is a small portion of US job loss. There are obviously close to one million US technology jobs in India, this is clearly apparent to anyone who has visited Bangalore and more and more people have. Its about a 10:1 ratio hiring offshore to onshore now for many tech companies. Probably the same number of jobs in china as india and then your residual support staff and theres the 3 million lost jobs right there. Well anyway I plan to be out or hedged before the next employment numbers because I don't see enough of an improvement in the jobs listings, they have to go up 10-fold for us to hit our 150K monthly target. This jobs situation won't correct itself imho.
