" We all agreed on 'No' to killing innocent people to both sides, obviously. "..

I seemed to have missed that Ed,even after reading what you guys posted over and over.hhmmmm.......

>>Do the Palestinians have the right to defend themselves, too(in considering the three points in my post #4466)?<<

Yes they do, but exactly what are you referring to when you say " defend themselves " and against what other than the occupation itself, and how, with other than legitimate means?

Negotiations were in place and their progress was based on the Pals rounding up the terrorist leaders and the Israelis dismantling the settlements.

Neither of these first steps took place, with one blaming the other for not complying, and here we are.

(I agree Israel has the right to defense itself, but I don't think it has the right to massive invasion and occupation against its neighbors).

Occupation?

No..not at all..and that was what the peace process with dual states is/was supposed to accomplish.

Massive invasion?

But this was mostly in response to terror attacks and the security of Israel's civilians, however I don't think Sharon was as forthright as he could have been , thus my get rid of Sharon position, and take the stupid wall with him.

PS: enough lower case?

Sorry..I can't get them any lower than this...LOL!...oops
