This procedure is even more astonishing on reading about it again. I have yet to try the keyboard shower. I periodically turn a glassful of wine onto my keyboard which seems to sterilize the crumbs in some way, perhaps immobilizing them into a drunken stupor so that they don't interfere with my typing. Unfortunately wine poured into me seems to have the opposite effect.
