Ashoka,
Since you are a Canadian I will use Can examples...

Debentures trade in multiples of $1000, you can see them every monday in the Globe and I think every day in the Post. I would reccomend to track either
1. Cambridge 6%, the one with approx a 40% premium

2. TrizanHahn 3.25% (convertible into Barrick)..

Both these trade on the TSE, are liquid and pay a much higher payout than the common...
