Vinod: I'm in the minority right now, but this is my bottom line: with the way Schmidt cleaned up in last quarters "kichen sink" , he still has more room to clean before he climbs out and dries himself off. I think the revenue slowdown is more material that most would believe right now. It takes more time to turn these things around. The mere fact that the CFO is still there tells me more is yet to come. By Friday we'll all be "channel surfers" trying to make sense of it all. Schmidt will be there gamely taking on all comers for his hands are still not completely free. I believe in Schmidt. He's making the right moves, but the BOD's need to get really really scared. That will mean another CFO, three or more new players on the board, replacing current players. This is what Novell really needs right now. A huge deck cleaning. We've only seen round #1. The stock will get it's nose wiped, but I will be there buying.
