It was useful to know, and to expect, that we would have the common spring cleaning.

We have had a pretty good one so its time to try to guess the bottom. And anyone able to do that properly is rich enough to retire.

I did not sell out in Jan, but backed off a lot in holdings.
Its been a survival game since then, and the non-techs have saved my butt.

Am doing well today with Igt and Agi.

Various factors that permit me to hold those and Tsco.

1. AGI was the first place Mort Topfer put his money other than in Dell. And he only ventures where there is good money to be made.

2. Neither Agi nor Tsco has had calls for very long, just over a year or so, and no Leaps yet so they are less subject to manipulation.

3. None have split often, perhaps once or twice, which means there was not outrageous past inflation in stock price and more growth is ahead rather than behind.
And they are all in excellent growth businesses.

My stocks get shaken a lot in this type market, so I have to buy and prepare to duck fast, but I've had very little trouble holding these 3 plus Geac.

Regards
Sig
