I don't think it's an issue. It's spin from the republicans. Clarke is his own man. I watched his testimony and was very impressed with the man.

He's just telling the American people what they deserve to know about Bush.

There has been a veritable parade of former administration officials saying the same things that Clarke has said. Then the Bush administration right away starts the personal attacks. It's typical of them to attack the messenger rather than the message. Which in my mind lends way more credence to the message. They did the same thing to O'Neil and Wilson and others too.

Are all these former Bush administration people liars?

They are telling the truth in the face of the republican attack dogs. That takes guts and patriotism. I salute their integrity.
