I agree. Corel strategists are impulsive, not decisive. They are too
quick to jump on the nearest bandwagon. They are now following the Applix model but are a couple of years behind.

With half their people working on Java, the expenses are going to be
high without any money rolling in for some time. Are they going to
capitalize these expenses (that is, charge them against future earnings)? Or if they expense them, what will that do to earnings in this quarter.

It always nice to look on the bright side, but when a
company acts stupidly, the cheering section should be a bit more
pensive.
