With all of the advancements in robotics and computers, it makes much more sense to do 100 unmanned missions throughout the universe than to devote all of one's resources into a single, very risky, manned-mission to Mars. And the benefits of exploring the limits of robotics surely would help create a new industry in the US.

Man should be in space, but IMO to a very limited degree. Why on earth create robots if not exactly for this type of work?

Am I the only one who sees this?
