Currently the U.S. uses 19.8 million barrels of crude oil each and every day.

And we have refining capacity of 16.8 million barrels and shrinking.

The math is pretty obvious. We are getting increasingly dependent upon foreign oil, and off-shore refining. The public is being set up to the victim of a huge "corner" of the gasoline market.

We are now importing 61% of the crude oil consumed in the U.S.
