If Kerry wasn't so weak on national security, I might give him a chance for 4yrs. However,it's a very important "if" and we need hard-nosed SOBs at this time to defend us from the equally hard-nosed terrorists.

Bush has approached the war on terrorism as a madman. He has no experience of war. There is one person in his cabinet who has some war experience and Gen. Powell has been marginalized by the Bushies. So we are not surprised at the Bush rant that he is tough on terror. But the question is if he is effective in the war on terror. We have seen a spate of bombings since the capture of Saddam. We have seen Ayman escape recently. Mullah Omar is also on the loose. A one eyed man, Mullah Omar and they cannot even apprehend the guy.

So I am not prepared to hear that Bush is tough on terror and Kerry is not. Kerry has fought a war. He knows all about war. Bush has only acted in war by flying onto the deck of carrier.

It is time to stop spreading lies and to show some success in the war on terrorism. Enough of this tough on terror rambo like approach. We need results. Start working with the rest of the world and let the coalition of the world make progress like it did during the Clinton years where a lot went on behind the scenes along with the co-operation of countries like France and Germany.
