The result of that debate is going to be that most Americans don't approve of homosexual marriage.

That will be an insufficient result. Most Americans already reject homosexual marriage and yet the courts are continuously forcing them to accept it.

We need the actual Amendment that defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. We also need to completely reject any federalization of homosexuality, including a clear rejection of civil unions or rights on the basis of sexual behavior.

I don't expect any of this. But that is the choice I hope America has to face. I want to see if America will reject it.
