The machine is still in the shop. Because of it's age and the quantity of files on it, I'm told it would be easier to upgrade to XP from 2000. Too bad I did not have such a drive earlier, I could have just thrown the damn thing out. Once I get through this, it will end up costing more than a new machine anyway. Don't know how this happened. But, gotta take the expensive fix for now.
