"Government projects for equipment can be deceiving though. For example Corvis and Cien got the GIG-BE project and there was no money in it."

Lizzie,

That is a conclusion I wouldn't leap to, but don't misunderstand that comment either: I have read all the anlysis and understand that there was cutthroat competition involved. Scmr, csco and jnpr also where winners, and its my guess that they were wise to "win."

I don't recall that corvis got any of it, off the top of my head. It was thought they would but I don't recall they did.

Components: jdsu, bkhm, fnsr,avnx, mrvc
systems: cien, scmr
other folks poised to explode on a broad scale roll out: afci, hlit, amcc

Jnpr, and csco shouldn't be forgotten as beneficiaries either.
